cutie bugs, I always wondered this but when you search these places, do you ever run into angry bums or wild animals or anything like that. Do you have anything to defend yourself? Also do you go alone or with others? This stuff fascinates me.

I haven’t run into any large wild animals yet, I usually find birds and mice though
Only once have I come close to running into a bum, I went into one house where a bum was living in and thank god he was not there that day ;; I still see him living in that house and I wish he would go away because there’s some really neat stuff in that house augh
I always carry a large pocket knife and mace with me and I ALWAYS go with someone, mostly with my dad, I’ve been wanting to go with friends for a while but most of my friends have moved away and not a lot of people share the same interests in going into dusty abandoned houses full of junk :/
